Van Limpt is known, among other things, from the special chain of office of the mayor of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, which was handed over at the beginning of this year.
“I get my inspiration from nature, trees, plants, but also the architecture of bridges, buildings, etc. I bring these and other elements together in thoughtful and unique designs that radiate exclusivity and harmony,” says Van Limpt. “I am very proud to have won this prestigious award. This means even more to me than the price I won last year at the A ’Design competition in Italy, where my design competed against other jewelry. At the Muse Award, I competed against the designs of competitors from all sectors, from jewelry to mobile phones and from pans to furniture. ”
Special diamond
The winning design by Van Limpt stands out because of a very precise cut diamond with 32 facets and two collars (slightly flattened points). This diamond is attached to the ring via a claw setting with four legs that are rounded to emphasize the futuristic character of this ring. These claw feet point to the center and represent both the four compass directions and the "directions of love." The white gold ring consists of three ring parts that arise from one whole.
